Last week my friend Sharon recommend me this book. I didn't know anything about it, only that a movie based on the book was released last month. I was pleasantly surprised by a moving love story about two friends, Dexter and Emma. I found that the book was written in a unique way, it shows the story of the characters over 20 years, always the same day, July 15th. I was touched by the story and felt the connection of the characters. The love between the characters and the difficulties being together reminded me of the relationship described in the book The Time Traveler's Wife by Audrey Niffenegger but the outcome of the story reminded me of the book The Elegance of the Hedgehog by Muriel Barbery. Tonight, I am going to see the movie and see how the book is represented. If you like modern love stories, I recommend this book.
